PEST FOCUS

Geneva:

1st catch of Obliquebanded Leafroller = 6/2. First control

 

spray recommended at approximately 300 DD (base 43°F). DD

 

accumulated since then = 323.

 

2nd brood flight of Spotted Tentiform Leafminer started = 6/10.

 

Sampling for control decision recommended at 500-700 DD (base

 

43°F). Current DD accumulation = 116.

Highland:

1st catch of Obliquebanded Leafroller = 6/2. First control

 

spray recommended at approximately 300 DD (base 43°F). DD

 

accumulated since then = 336.

 

2nd brood flight of Spotted Tentiform Leafminer started = 6/7.

 

Sampling for control decision recommended at 500-700 DD (base

 

43°F). Current DD accumulation = 207.

 

1st catch of Tufted Apple Budmoth, Variegated Leafroller, and

 

Sparganothis Fruitworm = 6/14.

 

Green Apple Aphid and Spirea Aphid populations building.
