Geneva:

Apple Maggot trap catches increasing.

 

Spotted Tentiform Leafminer flight subsiding.

 

Spotted Tentiform Leafminer 2nd flight began 6/14. DD (base 43°F) accumulated since then = 853. (Resample at 840-1149; see the Recommends, p. 64)

 

Codling Moth model is at 843 DD (base 50°F); 2nd brood sprays at 1260-1370.

Highland:

Apple Maggot trap catch above threshold and oviposition evident in early varieties.

 

Codling Moth model is at 1047 DD.

 

Spotted Tentiform Leafminer 2nd generation larvae entering tissue feeding stage.

 

Spotted Tentiform Leafminer 2nd flight began 6/11. DD (base 43°F) accumulated since then = 978.

 

Pest Mite development slowed by cool weather; Apple Rust Mite and Predator Mite numbers increasing.
